Silver 1 Ounce 1984 Champs Chicago Cubs Proof “Holy Cow” WDEE-17

Silver 1 Ounce 1984 Champs Chicago Cubs Proof “Holy Cow” WDEE-17

$88.00

Here is a 1984 Champions Chicago Cubs 1 ounce silver round. This is the “Holy Cow” design, with baseball design on the obverse side. The reverse side has the balance scales, and indicates this is one troy ounce of 999 fine silver, and a silver trade unit. A limited issue round of the APM silver company. This exhibits deep mirror proof surfaces on both sides, with nearly flawless field to device contrast. This was the year when Ryne Sandberg was MVP, Rick Sutcliff was the Cy Young winner and Jim Frey was Manager of the Year. The Cubs hadn't been to the playoffs since 1945, and the North Side of Chicago was electric every time Harry Caray said “Holy Cow!” All the home games were still played during the day. This piece of memorabilia is a must for any ardent Cubs fan, and an excellent addition to any Thanks for looking. Enjoy! WDEE-17
