George Colin Found Paper Collection Art 12-15-1979

George Colin Found Paper Collection Art 12-15-1979

A very early art piece by George Colin dated 12-15-1979. This piece measures 24" x 20". Signed twice on the front. Colin did not number this piece, so we are using the finish date as the number. Unframed. Part of the "Found Paper" Collection.

This is one of George Colin's earliest and quite rare works on "found paper". When George first began, he considered paper too costly for his simple life, so he illustrated his works on paper he could find from discarded packaging. Many of the "found paper" pieces have advertising on the other side from that packaging.
